Job Description:

Department Location: Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital, Riverton, UT

Scheduled Weekly Hours: PRN/As Needed

Job Essentials:

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assists in the preparation of the patient for the exam and is sensitive to the needs of the patient while in their care.
• Assists patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Assists and/or oversees coordination of patient care.
• Routinely inspects transport equipment and notifies appropriate personnel when repair is necessary.
• May perform IV insertion upon certification and skill pass off.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• High School diploma or GED completion

Preferred Qualifications:

• Patient care or customer service experience.
• IV Certification

Physical Requirements:

Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Seeing, Standing.
