Varian is seeking a Product Manager to play a key role in the Varian Medical Systems Product Portfolio management team. The successful candidate for this role will be an articulate, self-motivated individual with a proven ability tolead cross-functional and cross-product cybersecurity initiatives that meet the demands of international regulatory agencies and develop a growing cybersecurity services business.

In this role, you will:

  • Providing product management oversight and direction for a portfolio-level cybersecurity roadmap, coordinating with the portfolio cybersecurity officer and the portfolio product owners and leadership teams.

  • Managing portfolio-level cybersecurity product requirements, performance testing, roadmap milestones, and commercial initiatives that support the portfolio business and cybersecurity compliance needs.

  • Providing product management for targeted cybersecurity products.

  • Participating in development of a technology progression roadmap in the context of cybersecurity.

  • Working with portfolio and service leadership teams to develop a new cybersecurity service business.

  • Managing the worldwide competitive positioning of the product portfolio in cybersecurity.

  • Maintaining broad understanding of the cybersecurity industry status and advances in the industry to address the threat landscape.

What you will have:

  • Bachelors' degree in engineering, Information Technology, or computer science (or equivalent experience)

  • At least 8 years of experience working in cybersecurity or information technology.

  • At least 5 years of experience with product, program, or project management experience with a medical device and its working environment

What will set you apart:

  • Deep understanding of client IT environments and interdependencies

  • Deep understanding of client cybersecurity assessment and management tools

  • Information Technology and/or Managed Services Operations best practices experience

  • At least 5 years of experience translating cybersecurity strategy and analysis into product requirements.

The base pay range for this position is

Min $127,600 - Max $229,700

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
