Your Role

Join Atlas Copco Comptec LLC as a Field Service Technician where you will perform upgrades, repairs, and maintenance of centrifugal compressors at our customer sites. You will also focus on maintaining customer relationships and represent Atlas Copco to remain first in mind first in choice for all customers. As part of the Field Service team, you will report to the Field Service Team Leader and work with the Aftermarket department, including the technical support team. This is a full-time position working on-site at our customer sites.

• You will complete repairs and upgrades of turbomachinery and components.
• You will perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection and damage analysis of components.
• You will travel regionally to customer sites to execute service on compressors and expanders.
• You will perform balancing activities for rotating parts.
• You will assemble compressor cores, skids, and turbo expanders.
• You will maintain repair documentation.
• You will maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

To succeed, you will need

• You have hands-on experience and knowledge in assemthe bly of close-toleranceting machinery.
• You have mechanical and electrical skills and capabilities.
• You can read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• You have a customer-focused attitude.
• You enjoy problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• You are willing to travel to customer sites.
