The Technician Assembly & Packaging that supports our SDC business unit has responsibility for assembling and packaging biological indicators (BIs) and ensures the accurate assembly of the BI to the final stages following good documentation and verification practices. This position has the potential to be deployed to other departments and learn new operations skills.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to package and assemble medical devices with care and efficiency.
  • Ability to support operation of all Assembly and Packaging Labelers.
  • Ability to respond to changing production timelines.
  • Ability to follow SOPs and provide continuous feedback.
  • Ability to follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Comply with all safety and regulatory standards.
  • Application of the Mesa Labs Quality Policy and active monitoring of product quality during manufacturing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications/Education:

  • 6 months experience in a production or laboratory environment preferred, willing to train the right individual.
  • Knowledge of or experience in a Federal Drug Administration (FDA) regulated industry preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalency degree preferred.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation/Benefits:

The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and compensation for this position. The package includes base salary, bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k/Match.

Salary for this position is $19/hr.
