Primary Responsibilities
The HDR Billings office is seeking an intern to work with our Transmission Line Design team in Billings, MT. Interns will perform tasks with varying levels of complexity, which are assigned by a Project Engineer, Project Leader, or Project Manager.
Tasks will include assisting transmission engineers in preparing design packages, performing simple calculations, attending internal meetings and participating in field reviews.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
* Must be currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate Civil or Mechanical engineering program
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while handling multiple projects
* Service and client-oriented personality
* Self-starter; can work well independently or in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Preference given to local candidates
