LOCATION: This position must be located in the Corporate HR Office in Kalispell, Montana. Some relocation assistance is available.


POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary focus of this position is the support, development, and maintenance of the UltiPro human resource information system (HRIS). You will serve as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows to create efficiencies and automate tasks. This role will also create and manage allHRIS reporting, using Cognos Business Intelligence reporting. You will interact across multiple departments (e.g. HR, IT, Finance/Payroll, etc.) to provide insightful analytics to the organization. A successful candidate for this role will be self-driven with a passion for human resource systems, data, and analytics.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • HRIS Administrator: Lead HRIS projects involving implementations, new functionality, process improvement and related administration. This includes supporting functionality enhancements of variousHRIS applications including, but not limited to: Manager Self Service, Onboarding, Open Enrollment, Life Events, and Career Development. Maintains user roles for data access, business processes and workflow administration. Supports implementation, testing, and modification of data interface programs. CommunicatesHRIS changes/enhancements to users. Runs data exports and transmits to third party vendors. Researches and resolves any data issues betweenHRIS and vendors systems. Supports data imports from internal customers and third party vendors. Provides technical support forHRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving system issues and unexpected results or process flaws. Escalates issues as needed withHRIS vendor to attain resolution of issue. Notifies affected users of technical or known issues in a timely manner.
  • Reporting: Develops, modifies, and executes reports using Business Intelligence to support HR business needs. Evaluates the inventory of reports, current processes and reporting tools to identify opportunities for improvement. Recommends and/or develops custom queries, reports and dashboards. Maintains standard reports inventory, updates and revises as necessary to ensure reports are relevant and provide value. Fulfill ad hoc and recurring data requests from internal customers. Creates annual compensation and benefits statements for management.
  • Process Development: Performs system and workflow analysis to improve productivity and to alleviate bottlenecks. Evaluates and identifies areas and processes to improve or automate. Participate in annual HR vendor due diligence review. Participates in user group meetings/conferences and develops and delivers trainings to necessary staff. Creates and maintains reference materials, quick reference guides, and provides on-going support for end-users.
  • Additional System and Department Support: Support Brainshark e-learning system for HR related work. Manage EHIDirect vendor relationship and user access. Update and manage Intranet main HR page and company user database. Enter IT service request tickets for HR department as needed. Provide basic user IT desktop support for HR office staff. Assists with daily/weekly data entry of invoices for the corporate HR department into the payment workflow system. Maintain the HR department's mail meter machine.
  • Serve as backup to Sr. Employee Relations Generalist for HR project management processes, including meeting organization and scheduling, maintaining agendas, and tracking project status.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.
Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience supporting or acting as administrator for HRIS system is required.
  • Proficiency with an industry-standard Business Intelligence and Analytics Platform (e.g. Cognos Business Intelligence, Oracle Business Intelligence, Crystal Reporting or similar tools) is required.
  • Experience working with UltiPro is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity and knowledge of Information Technology terminology and operations.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:

COMPENSATION: Salary includes a bonus plan and is negotiable depending upon relevant experience. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.

Must be capable of occasional travel (less than 10 days per year) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities.
