Position summary
Our Exciting Work Environment

Situated just blocks from the West Entrance of America's first national park, Yellowstone, Delaware North's Park Gate Lodges offer guests a variety of accommodations including the familiar Holiday Inn West Yellowstone the comfortable Gray Wolf Inn & Suites and the AAA Three-Diamond Yellowstone Park Hotel boasting over 300 guest rooms between them.

This position is located at the Holiday Inn, Branch Restaurant featuring a full menu and bar open breakfast, lunch and dinner in addition to supporting several banquet functions throughout the year.

Responsibilities
  • Assists Executive Chef with management of the kitchen, including supervising activities of cooks, scheduling, training, implementation of policies and procedures, coordinate and actively participate in event operations and monitor food and labor costs.
  • Plans, prepares and cooks high volume meals, banquets, and catered food to guests and employees
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen to comply with State and Local Health Department regulations.
  • Oversee inventory of food product and coordinates product ordering and receiving within corporate specifications.
  • Plan menus, catering packages and daily specials, maintaining financial responsibility for the menu mix
  • Create special experiences one guest at a time.
  • Follow all Delaware North Parks and Resorts Environmental GreenPath, GuestPath, OSS, SERV, Code of Conduct, Core Values, Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Culinary Arts desired but not required.
  • Three years Culinary Arts experience, including previous experience in a management role desired. More specifically, in high volume restaurant, casual and catering operations environment supporting multiple outlets; or similar experience supervising personnel.
  • Familiar with monitoring of food and labor cost, menu development and costing.
  • Familiar with ordering and inventory procedures
  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
  • Excellent Organization skills
  • ACF Certification (CCC or CSC) within two year of employment.
  • Serve Safe Certification
